Announcements
We are proud to announce a new era in minimally invasive technology available at our hospital with the arrival of the da Vinci robotic system which now enables our physicians to perform prostate cancer surgery and other procedures through small incisions with minimal blood loss, less pain and a quicker recovery.
ABOUT OUR PRACTICE

Associated Urologists is a partnership of four University trained Urologic surgeons dedicated to bringing you highly professional, up-to-date, and comprehensive adult and pediatric Urologic care. All of our doctors are members of the American Urologic Association and Board Certified by the American Board of Urology. We have served the Manchester Memorial and Rockville General Hospital service areas for over 35 years. As a group practice , we are able to provide round the clock, continuous care for all our patients. Since one of our doctors will always be available to attend your needs, you can be assured of receiving highly qualified, personal Urologic care.
We have completed the installation of our new, high tech digital cystoscopy suite at Manchester hospital. This new technology gives us unparalled high quality x-ray .imaging with side-by-side endoscopic flat screen camera technology.
The latest in minimally invasive treatment for prostate enlargement is now available at Manchester Hospital. The "Green Light" Laser allows for vaporization of the prostate gland through a small telescope under a light anesthetic, and as an outpatient. The advantages of this new approach include shorter hospital stay, and less risk of bleeding.
In keeping with the needs and desires of our younger male patients, we can now perform office vasectomy under local anesthesia in our office without the need to inject the anesthetic agent. Instead the novacaine is applied through the skin with a stream of pressurized air, assuring a painless procedure. As before, no cutting of the skin is needed, as the tissues are gently spread aside with special instruments to enable us to seperate and divide the sperm duct.
